The feature isn’t available to everyone (yet), but some users may now see a new option in their Instagram stories. When you create a story, you can now share your story with a friend using the ‘Friend’s Story’ option. That friend will then be able to view it and add it to their story, if they approve.
If brands, companies and/or organizations get access to this new possibility, it could provide a new, simplified way to dataset obtain UGC (User Generated Content). They can ask followers and fans to submit and share their content on their own business account.
It is not yet known when Instagram will launch this feature.
Instagram plans to expand its Collections feature
A allowing users to share collections of posts on their profiles. This could give profile visitors more insight into the account’s interests, which in turn could help them decide whether or not to follow the account.
This feature could be a way to enable more connections between users who share the same interests. And for brands, it could be a showcase for your products.
Instagram has been working on the option since September, but this feature is not ready for launch yet. So we will have to wait patiently.
