Our adventure together began 10 years ago, on March 25, 2013 on Ulule, with the dream of creating our denims and manufacturing our jeans in France. Thanks to an exceptional crowdfunding campaign, you have allowed us to design ever more beautiful jeans, and to create more than 250 jobs in our workshops and those of our partners. French cotton!
In Gers and Drôme, our farming partners harvested 1.8 tonnes of cotton from 3 hectares last November. Once ginned, this represents around 600 kg of cultivated cotton fibres to which we combine you were waiting for them, they have arrived! 600 kg of recycled cotton, to weave around 1,800m of raw denim. Enough to make a little over 1,000 pairs of jeans, depending on your sizes.
The original fiber of jeans: cotton
In addition to our linen and wool collections, the real fiber of jeans atb directory is cotton. Its qualities and softness are full of meaning, but its cultivation in France does not offer a viable yield. After years of research, we have found the recipe for sustainably producing our cotton in France: combining the circular economy and sustainable local agriculture to create a quality 100% French cotton thread, 50% from the earth and 50% from the recycling of our old jeans.
